I agree. Herb Jones is real good. AVERY DIDNT DO GOOD JOB DEVELOPING HIM
Wow, why were you fighting to keep Avery? What a joke

Herb is the epitome of a kid with great potential who got all screwed up by Avery. Give him a chance with Oats and see what he can do. Remember the Herb that played his arse off against Norfolk

Kid must have had a clock set 5 mins ahead. Cause I pulled up his IG at 7:55 and he already had the Hat on and was holding up a Tshirt.

First one in the gym mentality. I'll allow it

Also,I hate to bring badnews but it doesnt look like Byrne is gonna do anything about Curry.

Looks like Kira will stay if Pett is retained. Currently Pett is out west with Nate recruiting Jaden and Raymond.

Roll Oats! Big time pick up.
I may be in the minority here, but I'm fine sticking with Curry another year. Next year should be her most talented roster yet, and I think she deserves to sink or swim with them. Also, I don't think it can be overstated how much of a dumpster fire our program was when she got here.

Pett is gonna be the one that is kept because he knows the Southeast and he is actually 247 #6 ranked recruiter.

braxton key just got stuffed on an attempted layup.

I don't understand the excessive hate for Herb Jones. I know he's not a good shooter at all, and probably never will be, but he still has value. He hustles, draws charges, can guard multiple positions, plays great perimeter defense, and he can be a tour de force in a full court press.
I know everybody has fallen in love with having 5 guys on the floor who can shoot the 3, but you still need role players that provide other attributes. If you can name one guy on our team who is a better on-ball defender than Herb, then I'd love to hear it.

Same. Everything I've seen from Herb tells me he's going to give effort and play hard nosed ball. I'll take that on this team for sure.

Key just had an air ball

Curry better make the tourney next year or pack her shite. Madonna Thompson would turn Bama around on a dime. We’re going to lose her to someone else if we keep fricking around.

Lol beginning of the year everyone thought Herb would be defensive player of the year in the SEC now nobody wants him on the team.

I want him. If he locks down a player on the other side, that's value to me. Not sure he'll ever be a legit offensive threat, but he adds value to the team

He is an offensive liability and a turnover machine. In our last 4 games, where all we needed was to win one game to get in the tournament, Jones turned the ball over 14 times.
In our last 3 games of the year he had 9 turnovers and 9 points.
In a close at Arkansas, nearing the end of the game, we had a one on three fast break and instead of passing it to a wide open guy he took it himself, hit it off his own knee and it went out of bounds.
I don't know what ya'll see in him but to me he is horribad.
