I'd imagine he's full of it. Quinerly isn't from around here so he can't use a family sickness as an excuse. Not sure what other reason would get him cleared.

shite, I just want to get him committed first. A waiver would be nice, but I'd rather have him here and sit a year, than not have him at all.

Not sure if this guy is just a fake insider or if he may actually know someone that knows someone that knows something, but figured I’d pass it along anyway.

This guys definitely a fake insider, I can sniff those guys out from a mile away.

Youre from Huntsville correct? I like your style. We should meet up at a Sonic sometime.

He's gonna have to come in and literally take a job away from somebody if he expects to see much PT next year.
As has been mentioned, Imo, we've got a real problem at center, and for the life of me, I can't see a fix...Coach is gonna earn his money if he takes care of this.

The solution is he’s gonna play small ball and we’re going to have a hole in the middle that Smith is going to try to plug but I’m afraid it’s going to be like 2007 in football: you’ll be able to see Oats’ handiwork but he won’t have the hosses to do what he wants to do successfully.

Aubie didn't have a true 5 last year and probably should have won the national title. It'll work out.

No but I didn't see Okeke out there in those big games late either. They made do.

Jelly is tweeting again.

Some random tweeted saying Jelly was forced out of Nova because he wasn’t that good. Jelly replied with:

quote:

wasn’t forced out tho

That’s about it though. He hasn’t tweeted a single thing Pitt related.

Somebody's gonna have to learn how to play physical in the paint...there wasn't "that guy" last year.

It's possible but may be a work in progress for a while. It took Pearl a couple of years to get the extreme on the ball pressure that makes his lineups work. These two past seasons, Auburn also had numerous guys on the court that contested and blocked a lot of shots even if they weren't traditional "post presences".

Oat's offensive pace is going to be as effective as the constant on the ball pressure on the defensive side of things allows it to be.

Herb Jones and John Petty are prototype defenders for what Oats wants to do. Kira should improve a lot on defense with a year of conditioning. Hopefully Reese as well. The new guys will have to buy in to that defensive work rate.

On the ball pressure was perhaps our biggest problem last year. Hall was a true rim protector but he suffered as well from players bullying him in the paint for good position and our perimeter defense was never up to the task of making those entry passes tough.
