I’d obviously love grad transfers, but Harvey is a kid I’d be fine taking if we have a few guys leaving like Ingram and Giddens.
ETA: from his injury history, a year off rehabbing would probably do wonders for him.

I don’t have access on 247 but it seems like there’s a few different posts about the kid committing tonight. Do our Mods think he’s announcing for Bama?

Exactly, it would be nice to land significant grad transfers, but I’d rather have Harvey than someone who simply is a potential minor rotation piece. I have hopes that next year will be good, but I’m way more focused on past next year.

Oats has NE/midwest connections, Pettway handles southeast. If we can have at least one for DC and another for International recruiting, that would be ideal.

Lets bring this Harvey kid in. I got the feeling when he was talking to Wimp yesterday that Nate is gonna ask a couple of these guys that dont fit to leave. Id assume Herbert,Galin,and Diante Wood will be asked.

Under no circumstance do I see Herb being forced out. I think that’s why Oats met with him and Lewis first.

I forgot about that, you are probably right.....well hopefully Nate fixes his offense and at least makes him respectable.

There’s not many things a brand new coach can do for me to lose faith in him before his first game, but this would be close. I don’t see a way that a coach who values defense and effort would let that man walk.

I tried reading through their basketball Threads, Awful. Bunch of FOGs didnt even know AJJr. Graduated, they thought he was transferring.

Yeah...they are something else.
That board would be a good psychological study for someone. I think they may have some legit crazy folks on there.
More I think about we probably have some legit crazy folks here...but this is my kind of crazy.
ETA: Except for Gene. He is Auburn kind of crazy.
