Oats was quick to like tweets about Kira and Petty coming back to school, same thing when Bolden, Hawkins, and Rojas committed.
He has liked a few tweets tonight but none of them involve anything about Tevin Mack withdrawing from the draft or returning to Alabama.
May not mean anything, who knows.

Raymond Hawkins might be my favorite player on the team already 
he loves being at Bama and you can see it’s genuine love for the school. It isn’t fake. He’s ALWAYS wearing Bama clothes or talking about Bama and he’s recruiting Quinerly VERY hard right now. He just posted a pic of Quinerly in a Bama uni on instagram

I love Raymond too. And I think he is gonna be a hell of a Basketball player. Im shocked he wasnt rated higher.

I am confident that both Hawkins and Shackleford will greatly outperform their recruiting ranking in college.

You know, I’m glad we’re all giddy with excitement about the upcoming season and I think we all agree Bama will be a much better basketball team under Nate Oats.
But I got to thinking (probably a little too much) and reflecting back on the performance of these guys the last couple of years. And I realized that I believe all the above is certainly true but I also believe there will be a game, maybe more than one, but hopefully not many, where the shots just won’t fall, where Nate’s high speed 3 ball game just completely gets FUBAR’ed by the current roster and we lose, probably to somebody we have no business losing to. A game where Kira has a bushel of turnovers, Petty goes 0fer from behind the arc, Nate probably gets tossed arguing calls, and we just generally suck arse.
But I want us to remember this feeling and know that it’s going to be alright. We are in good hands. We will get there. But it might take time. I have no doubt this staff will get more and better production from this group. But this group ain’t perfect as we’ve already seen and Nate didn’t pick ‘em all, he got some handed to him that probably aren’t ideal for his philosophy. So we’re going to have those games where we get frustrated as hell over how they don’t do well and fall back into bad habits. So bottle some of this sunshine and save it for a rainy day and remember where we’re going, not where we are, or where we’ve been.
