Looks like a terrific player.Wonder why he left Villanova? Big loss for them.

From my understanding he didnt start over a veteran Eric Paschal and threw a pity party all season because of it and then decided to leave.
VERY talented, hopefully Oats can get that little bit of divas out of him.

Celebrated too early. Cecils tweet has me thinking he might be Grad Transferring closer to home.
I guess Javian leaves if we get Jahvon

Only one player has to leave for us to get Jahvon. Will probably be Mack or Javian

So now we know that he's returning to school, but we don't know if that school is going to be us. That tweet from Cecil doesn't sound promising.

A Clemson assistant followed him on twitter and he tweeted that “eyes emoji” at a Clemson player the other day, and the player responded back with the same thing. Might be going to Clemson. Who knows

I think if he were going to Clemson he would've said he was coming back to college but transferring to Clemson.
I would assume he had been working out off campus since he was preparing to potentially enter the NBA draft.

He could stay at Bama all summer and then still decide to transfer in August. I hope he stays, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him end at Clemson next year.
Maybe he's seen Juwan Gary at practice and he knows that he's going to be a freshman phenom and get the lion's share of the minutes at the 4. Or James Rojas is gonna be a bonafide stud and steal his spot. At least that's what I'll convince myself of if Mack leaves.

Cecil just tweeted this when asked if his first tweet meant Mack was transferring.
So if Tevin is Transferring Cecil doesn't seem to know anything about it.

I’m not predicting the future. Tevin may have other options but I do not know his thinking.

Rojas played the 5 in JC and I am pretty sure he will for us as well.
Rojas is 6'8 220, Donta was 6'9 230 as a senior, not a huge difference.

That very well may be the case, but I'm actually hoping this doesn't have to be an absolute. I'd love for Raymond Hawkins to come in and be a sensation at center and be that rim protector & rebounder we need. And allow guys like Rojas & Reese to be stretch 4's and knockdown a bunch of shots at the three point line. From the film I've watched of Rojas, it looks like he has a really nice stroke from deep.
Damn, I'm just ready for the season to start already. I think we'll be little frustrating at times, but overall a pretty fun team to watch.

Ok I am changing my mind, the more I read the more it sounds like Mack is considering other options. I hope he comes back but we are really loaded at Forward so it wouldn't be a huge loss. Quinerly is for sure a bigger need.
I would rather keep Mack and have one of our bigs transfer personally but someone obviously would have to leave for us to get Quinerly.

I do think Reese gets a ton of minutes at the 4 and does just what you said. I think Hawkins or Smith will be the 2nd big off the bench, behind Rojas. Rojas does have a very good stroke, Oats likes for his bigs to be able to shoot threes, his man big at Buffalo last year, Nick Perkins was 32 for 97 from three (38%), which is a higher % than anyone on our team shot.

I'm 100% with you on that. And we can't play 13 guys anyways, so losing somebody like Javian and adding Quinerly for next season would be the best case scenario.

I don't think Quinerly would be visiting unless the staff knew at least one more player is leaving.

Good point. However, I would hate to lose Javian without at least seeing what he brings to the table
