Here I am hoping I can get to experience what it was like to live in the Wimp days, while the eternal shitfest Auburn program is now going further in the tournament than we ever got to then.

I don't even feel like watching any more basketball tonight. Chuma getting hurt like that just ruins things. Dang. As I get older, these guys getting injured bothers me more and more.

I would love to see a healthy Auburn vs Texas Tech in the championship.
I will admit I would be a Red Raider fan in that game.

I see UCLA still hasn't made a hire yet. Glad the AD took care of that business ASAP.

Sorry guys, I was too busy watching our Men’s swimming team win the national championship in the 200 medley relay to pay attention to the auburn game.

Regardless of how you feel about Auburn, that injury couldn't have happened to a better kid. I honestly don't give a shite about how it affects AU as long as it doesn't impact his future.
As far as AU in the tournament, the loss can easily be mitigated if Purifoy plays at even 50% of his raw talent. The main issue will be Okeke is an elite defender inside and perimeter + fouls in the post

Yea it was really shitty. Hate it horribly for him. Hope it's just a sprain. He has a big, rich career ahead of him.

I feel like if Harper and Brown pick up a little bit of the slack scoring wise and Purifoy plays well yall will be alright.
It may not be a tear. I mean Ronald Acunas knee bent worse than that last year and he didnt tear anything.

It’s the SEC. I did enjoy watching them beating UNCCH.

I hope it isn't serious, but Bruce's reaction after the game tells me they did some preliminary stability tests on it and it wasn't good news. Hopefully, it isn't torn though. Gosh, that's just awful for the guy

Jonty and Dennis are hella coaches. We're lucky to have them both.

One thing that really bothered me about our bball team this year was they were too nice. We were in a heated home game with Auburn and every time one of their players fell down or got knocked down one of our players would help them up. Like really? Let's make them feel as at home and comfortable as we can! Never saw any Auburn or LSU players help our guys up off the floor.
They didnt have that dog mentality teams like Auburn have.
They say teams take on the personality of their coach and I believe it, Avery was probably too nice, never saw him yell at or correct a player. You need a coach that will hold the team accountable and they in turn will hold each other accountable.
Nate Oats is no doubt a straight shooter, I love it. If our team takes on his attitude we are gonna be mentally tough and able to win these close, grind it out games that we were unable to win under Grant or Avery.
Our football team is basically based around being mentally and physically tougher than the other team, we need that in Bball too. Its the Alabama standard. I feel like it's a big part of what Oats brings, especially the mental toughness part which is what you really need in bball,
You know who wasn't scared to get onto a player and correct them when they needed it? Wimp Sanderson.

Late night recruiting update. CTF jet just touched down in Orange County. Assuming the basketball staff is on-board, this would likely be a visit for Jaden Shackelford. Fair to assume a Raymond Hawkins visit could also be in the works before his announcement tomorrow.

Next years team could be so good if the 3 guys in this class stay committed, Kira comes back, & Watford commits!!!
