Does anyone have a running list of offers Oats has made in the past few weeks? It has to be in the high teens or twenties.

shite! That looks like a Saban offer list both by stars and by area covered. If this guy can coach half as good as he works, we are fixing to be a nasty surprise for the rest of the conference. We need to win 20 games or so, in a fun system and will we land some of these blue chips and compete at the top of the league. I love this guy.

I love Oates already as well Phil. The recruiting effort he & his staff are giving, flying coast to coast for blue chippers. I have a feeling couple years we could be that team other programs dread playing due to great coaching, better players, toughness, & style of play, reminisiant of how our football program had become 10 or so years ago.

Seems like the staff has identified Nix as maybe their top target. Is there some kind of preexisting connection between the staff and him? Just curious since he’s not a local kid

I don't think so, Nix is originally from Alaska. I think the staff just really likes his style of play, seems to be a lot of mutual interest between him and the staff.

Before the Oats era really gets going, we are going to have to get the spelling of his name correct
Correct: Oats
Incorrect: Oates
Correct: Oats
Incorrect: Oates

247 has him ranked as the number 3 player in the 2020 class but their composite has him ranked 67th, pretty big disparity.

Alabama, once again, was in today for five-star junior Daishen Nix, a source told @Stockrisers. New staff has seen him several times, also conducted an in-home visit with him. Name to watch for the Tide.

This maybe a late post, but rereading Buffalo's fans post during their coach search, they all wanted Byran Hodgson to replave Oats. Hypothetically speaking, say Oats succeeds here and Hodgson is the assistant throughout the process, wouldn't mind him replacing Oats.

This might also be a late post, but have we at least offered a guy who has made a 3 on twitter? Screw all of these Stars, I need me some twitter 3s

His brother Thon Maker (on the left) is listed at 7’1”. I know Thon’s not standing up perfectly straight, but Makur looks like he’s at least the same height from that pic.

I dont think any Basketball coach has ever worked this hard on the recruiting trail as Hodgson and Oats have.
Thing I love about this staff is all 4 can recruit. Its no longer Pettway doing all the work...he went from our only productive recruiter to possibly 3rd best on staff.
