I was about to say maybe this is what Alabama needs to make a run - playing in front of an empty arena, but it didn't really seem to help them much at certain times in Coleman this year.

Reese would be perfect for NAIA basketball. His lack of strength made him susceptible to bad turnovers offensively and nonexistent defensively.
I commend the young man for working his tail off to lose a lot of bad weight, and for playing despite the hip injury, but he is not the answer as a big man for Bama to be successful.
I think Davis is a better investment. With a couple more years in the system, and getting used to the speed of the SEC, I think he can turn into a very serviceable big.

Yeah, I thought Davis gave great effort most of the season, and showed flashes he could be an inside threat. He was inconsistent though, probably due to inexperience and injury battles. I hope he sticks around and improves his game.
Reese is an enigma. He's never really been an inside threat, and his style of play seems to fit Oats's system. His effort at times isn't there, especially on the boards.

I wouldn't go that far, and in his slight defense he was often caught in mismatches. He could stand some improvement there though for sure.

I heard that Nathan Oaks went off with some choice word on the sidelines while a camera was present. Does anyone know where there is a link, or care to give a suitable for work synopsis of what happened? I’d really like to see a video but can’t find one.

He will not even attempt to contest a shot it seems . Gives guys wide open layups and will not cut the baseline off for anything . Guess that was too far but it was so frustrating watching it this year

Yup, and he’d rather just stand around the 3 point line. He successfully drives maybe 10% of the time.
Like folks have said, when Cecil starts getting on guys, it’s bad.

I like the rain. Means I don’t have to do anything at work....AKA can just sit in the office and watch TV. I’m already planning on doing it Thursday and Friday for the SECt whether it rains or not.
