The fact is, we have 2 players that score consistently: Kira and Shack. Petty shows up occasionally. A coach that wants to play fast and score points has 2 & 1/2 players that can play his game. The rest take up space on the roster.

I don’t have confidence that we will ever turn this program around. I don’t know the cause, but I know we stink. It’s embarrassing. The effort we saw tonight is the typical February effort that we have seen for years.
I think Oats is a good coach. But is he good enough to overcome this trash arse program? This is a program problem.
Time will only tell if he can. I'll have to see it to believe it.

Eh doesn't matter who the players are.
They'll be in the same place come February 25

Just stopped by to say Alabama basketball is the absolute worst program to follow in the history of sports. I hate it so much. Good night, guys! Enjoy your alcohol!

He will have a chance to get his players and run the program his way. We'll see then how good he is. Remember Oats doesn't have too much College coaching experience as yet.
So he'll get better too.

Sounds like 16-10 by mid February is a possibility

I’m a believer in Oats, but the dude is clueless on when to use his timeouts. He should’ve gotten that shite straightened out in the HS ranks.

Davis wanted nothing to do with contact on the inside or rebounding a basketball.
He did participate bricking a couple hail Mary 3's.

Oats deserves better. He’s trying to resurrect the program with a roster full of Keith Browns.

I’m still in the Oats boat. We were behind the 8 ball from the start this year with Rojas and Gary injured and Quinerly ineligible. Herb is playing his best but he is still playing with one hand and isn’t the same.
We need more depth and better rebounders, and we have a couple of really good rebounders sitting on the bench unable to play and another coming in next year and will have a ton more depth. I think we have the right cook but dont have the right ingredients yet.

Our birthright, plus a first round NIT home game against the regular season champion of the America East.

I love Oats but I do have a little bit of criticism. Look at everyone of our offensive possessions from about the 3 and half minute mark going forward when that game started slipping away. We go down and make one pass and jack up a horrible three. I think we have to have a few plays that we can run for those end of game situations and crunch time that we can rely on and not just come down and fling up a three.

I absolutely believe Oats is the right man. It’s going to take him some time to work out these mentally weak pussies of the Avery era. At 40 seconds and the all, why not drive the lane, cut it to 1, and go from there. Just poor decision making, poor execution, and poor effort the whole fricking game.
I believe Oats can turn it around, but holy shite that was as Alabama basketball a game as I’ve ever seen.

I like Oats a lot, seems like he's gonna do a nice job. I hope like heck he does a nice job.
But I ain't expecting it. Be cool if it happens though!
