The way this week has gone I’m expecting the news on JQ tommorow to be bad

As huge of An Arkansas basketball fan as I am. Arkansas almost beat rice by 50. I remind you that i'm predicting arkansas to win 15 to 16 games this year.

I’m just expecting the worst from now on in all sports. That’s how it’s been going lately with Bama football and basketball

Arkansas is going to be a little bit better than 16 wins I think.

Not disputing that Rice isn't bad; just highlighting the bad night Penn had. Brodeur and Dingle had 61% of their points, while the rest of their team went 6-27 from the field.

Has there been a timetable established for the JQ appeal?

We find out tommorow. Don’t know if he will be a good player or not but we just need a body right now.

He will have a video teleconference with the appeals committee at noon(??I think) to explain his situation and then should get an answer shortly after

Yep we just need bodies right now. And hopefully he can keep someone in front of him on defense. If he can do that, he is much needed.

we don't have anybody taller than 6'7. We have no size and depth.

I’ve been saying Mike White isn’t a good coach. I thought his talent would carry him this year and guess I was wrong.

Auburn lost to a bad D-2 school last year and went to the Final Four. College Basketball has a tendency to produce some weird results every year.

Big Bird, you know we aren't going to the final four. Hope to make the tourney but I think that is a long shot.

No insde game and few dependable outside shooters.

I hope they make me eat those words.

Exactly. You see it every year when a team gets hot in January but drop off in Feb/March. Depth and coaching is very critical.

Screw all this bad mojo lately. Tomorrow is going to bring some good luck and JQ is going to be declared eligible.

Yeah, the football game was a bummer, but I've honestly been more excited about the basketball team anyway. Not that I think we'll be going to the final four or anything - just excited about hopefully making some progress back toward a good program.

That’s not exactly my point. I’m just saying that one game doesn’t mean anything. I was more so referencing Penn’s loss to Rice.

No insde game and few dependable outside shooters.

I feel like the first part is all but guaranteed. The last part may be weighing the Penn results a little too heavily. I don’t think we’re the shooting team that showed up against Tech, but I know we’re nowhere close to the team that showed up last Tuesday.

No sense in overreacting over one game. It’sCBB, weird outcomes happen all the time. Some 30 other games to prove yourself

That was an exhibition 2 years ago. That’s a slightly different.

More embarrassing but less predictive power since exhibitions are glorified scrimmages
