If that is from the radio interview that I heard not long ago, he didn’t sound as frustrated as the words seem to look on paper imho.

It seems to me that Oats is taking the opportunity to make sure the boosters know it's something that he is expecting to get done, and money should not be an object to whatever is needed to make Coleman a better basketball venue.

Just my opinion here, but if Oats ends up being a success in Alabama and they want to keep him for any reasonable length of time, they better pony up.

Yes - and the department wants to do that, I think, but they are servants of the booster base. So it's up to the money people to decide they want that, too.

I'm.........skeptical.

I do agree with this, he was on Finebaum the same day as the other interview and Coleman was once again brought up.Was brought up by Finebaum but seems to be a trend and I'm glad. The more it's brought up publicly like that the more pressure it puts on the people in charge.

Quinerly who was the 29th rated recruit in his class and was a 5 star.
Primo who is 27th in his class and is a 5 star.
Shackelford* who has already shown he can score 20+ night in and night out in the SEC.

That's a hell of a future back-court right there.

Where are you getting this from? He averaged 3 points in 9 minutes last year at Villanova.

Coleman is not getting renovated until we can play in the updated Legacy arena. Maybe we could have played in Birmingham this year but football is king

What's ya'lls confidence level for tonights game 1-10?

For a win, I'm about an 8.5. We should win, but you never know in this game and this team.

Have y’all seen the twitter video of Herb draining 5 straight right hand FTs with ease? He honestly may want to consider shooting his FTs like that even when he gets healthy

I hope he can keep it up because you know it's some coaches are gonna start fouling him intentionally when he gets the ball if he can't.

I imagine this will be tested tonight.

ETA: He may be a better free throw shooter with his right hand than his left.
That stroke looks good.

LOL seriously, his stroke on the 2nd one was as pure as any I've ever seen him take from 12 feet out left handed

Hell, it seemed like he did everything better right handed.

But, seriously, I think the fact that he wasn't really expected to score freed him up to do more of what he's cut out to do - use his freakish length to go get the ball. He should be the clean up guy on offense. That, coupled with his usual stellar defense is what I'd like his role to be. I don't think we should force the offense through him. Not that we've done that a LOT, but we have some.
