I'll be honest I just don't buy the 18 wins %.

If we go 6-0 or 5-1 we'll be in great shape. 4-2 and we're right in the middle

Even with that I think there's the possibility of wide variation based on where the 4 and where the 2 come from. If the 2 losses are @OM and @Mizzou but we pick up a Q1 W @State it's a hell of a lot better than losing @State but also losing at home to Vandy. In the first scenario we have a much better chance of getting in with 18 wins than the latter.

I will feel a lot better about where they are mentally if they come out and take care of business against an aTm team they should have no issues beating in Coleman. We know how this program has responded to positive momentum in the recent past though, and it is never good.

They need to come out confident (not overconfident) and win this game wire to wire by 15 points like they know their season is riding on it.

I'll feel confident if we can get 20 wins. That may mean winning Thursday/Friday SECT.
Regardless, it'll be a challenge.
Quiet a few remaining on our schedule fighting for a NCAA spot as well & playing their best ball of the season.

I think we drop @state & @Mizzou

IF we ran the table, I’d assume we’d have a shot at the 4 seed?

You’re talking about the conference tournament 4 seed right?

12-6 has been as high as #2 and no worse than #4 in the 7 years that the SEC has played an 18 game schedule. Usually its #2 or #3. It has only been as low as #4 twice.

Those are from a long time ago. Id say 20% chance. Duke really wants him. Memphi$ is recruiting him really hard as well.

We’ve already beat two of the top three teams in the conference. Gave Kentucky and Florida good games on their home courts. Let’s do it.

Yeah, I’m a little perplexed by that as well. If we only get to 18 wins and there 6-8 bids stolen, I just don’t see how we’d get in.

I think those numbers reflect our chances going into the SECT, not on selection day. But yeah, I would say those are a little high.

TeamRankings is the 130th ranked bracket in BracketMatrix so definitely dont put our eggs in that basket.

I’d love to get in the tourney simply because this team is the prototype for a 12 seed beating a 5 seed. But if we don’t it’ll have still been a fun season

6 or 8 bids being stolen in conf tourneys by teams not already projected to be in or already on the bubble isn't very likely at all. I'd feel a lot better with 19 wins than 18.

It's hard to know the exact number we need with 6 games left. Basically we just need to win as many as we can. If we go 3 and 3 over these last 6 we likely aren't getting in anyway unless we almost win the tourney.

Yeah most people have us right on the bubble already due to having such a tough schedule, it's not like it's gonna take a hail mary for us to get in as some fans are speculating.
