This is an NIT team that will win a couple games it shouldn’t and lose more than a couple games that it shouldn’t.

We had 4 big that’s can play without us giving up anything on the offensive end....Rojas,Gary,Herb, and Reese...3 got hurt and Reese played on a Hip injury......and Broader exploited it.

Yes it was. The freshman guard they had didn’t look particularly explosive from where I sit, but he got into the paint with ease

IT was heartening to see Kira take his misses so badly. He was inconsolable.

I mean, they call them FREE throws for a reason. Penn just handed him a game his team didn't deserve to win and he said nah, y'all have it. He should feel like shite.

Only complaint I have with tonight is the defense was atrocious. We gave up 81. You’re not going to win many ballgames that way.

Being Alabama basketball fans is taking years off our lives.

It shouldn't be this difficult.

I truly hate that I care. How many times has a game played out like that over the last decade? They just crumble. It’ll be a tough habit to break until he gets his guys in here

I can't. A few years ago I'd be fricking livid right now, but this kind of loss has become so commonplace with this program that I just can't find a frick to give about it. I have zero expectations for this team. The roster is super overrated and the guy who just choked away the game is our best player by a wide margin. Reese, Davis, and Smith may be the worst defensive frontcourt in D1 college basketball.

Credit their staff for adjusting. They went 4 out in the second half with Brodeur down low knowing we couldn’t defend both him and the dribbler. They did to us what we were trying to do to them.

Guess what? We didn’t get outcoached and we didn’t get outhustled. Tonight, we got outplayed. It wasn’t pretty, but most first attempts aren’t. This was the beginning, not the end. It was one we shoulda, coulda had but we let it slip away. As long as we’re back for another try with the same or better intensity, I can live with that.

Shackleford’s confidence is otherworldly. Felt like he went about 4-35 from the field. Just chucking it.

On well, that was a brutal way for it to end.

North Carolina will probably beat us by 25.

On another note, what does John Petty do in practice and the offseason? I can’t recall a highly touted player that’s gotten better at literally nothing after 3 years. He still can’t dribble. He still makes boneheaded passes. He still plays way out of control and takes dumb shots. I look at a guy like Donta Hall that was 10x better when he left than he was when he arrived. Petty is the same sloppy player. It’s maddening watching him squander possessions

My thoughts as well. I’m not ready to get back on the bus. So many let downs over the years. Then, Sexton takes us to a new level, and then the fall.

I’m going to watch and listen, but I will get a few more gray hairs.
