I have a weird sense of confidence in our team this season. Not a logical opinion, I realize.

We just played a more talented team on the road. We played poorly, while they played better than what they have most of the season.

I just think Oats has our guys more focused than what they ever were during the Avery era. Even during our early season growing pains, it never looked like our guys lost faith. I think if we keep weathering the storm, we'll be fine. My optimism might just be due to the bourbon though. Well, Roll Tide anyway.

Yea I mean I don't think we're gonna crumble in a typical Alabama mentally weak way.....I'm just concerned our guys bodies are giving out.

I’m afraid we’ll run out of steam. Bad depth combined with our style of play isn’t a great combo. We blew it with losing three games we had- Penn, Penn State, Florida

On Hawkins I feel like he wasn’t ready when he arrived and Nate made a decision that no matter how bad we needed him for minutes, he wasn’t going to waste a year of the kid’s on garbage time. He’s saving him for next year.

If you get 4 “free” games in a 12 game football season, shouldn’t you get maybe 6 in a 30 game basketball season? frick the NCAA!

I think redshirts should just be scrapped. Just give everyone 5 years.

Can’t wait to watch them break out of their little slump against us Saturday.

If Kira and Petty come back, I’d rather focus on bigs. If they don’t, we won’t make it anyways.

We need bigs, but a lot of that will be solved by the returning players. Rojas and Gary will play the 4. Keon will probably play the 4. Both Keon and Rojas have the size to play small-ball 5. A shot-blocking 5 would be my first priority, but more guards/wings are a close 2nd. We just witnessed Forbes getting a lot of minutes, and being an absolute zero on both ends. We’ll add Quinerly to the mix, but that’s essentially the guard rotation we’ll be seeing next year. Regardless of what happens with Lewis and Petty, I’d still have getting another guard as a very high priority.

Good defense and terrible offense. Frustrating as hell for fans, but it lets you beat about anyone if you hit shots for a night.

Not to minimize our issues, but I don’t think Arkansas or Tennessee fans are feeling that confident about the direction of their team.

Tennessee fans may have given up a while ago, but Arkansas looks to have been sort of figured out a bit. Or maybe they are running out of steam too?

They are probably like us. Confident in their coach long-term; not really sure they’re that good right now.

Yep, I think so.

Tennessee just isn't real good if Bowden isn't playing well offensively.

I really hope that Oats can recruit at a good level. That’s really my only concern
