IMO we need 19 wins.....
4 for sure wins left:
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
South Carolina
Texas A&M.
Means we got to win 3 out of:
@ LSU
LSU
@ Auburn
Arkansas
@ Georgia
@ Ole Miss
@ Mississippi State
@ Missouri
I think we can do it

There is no such thing as a sure win in conference this year except for Vandy.

Maybe Mizzou and Ole Miss will have mailed it in by the time we visit. @Auburn is the only game left that would be a shocking win IMO

According to @haslametrics 2019-20 ALL-PLAY ESTIMATES, Alabama is set up to win 21 regular season games. Only predicted losses left for Coach Oats are @ LSU, @ MS State and @ Auburn.

My biggest question mark going forward is if we are able to keep up the intensity and relentlessness we were able to play with from December-January. I have no doubt that team over the last 6 weeks can very much finish the season 9-3. However, the team that played the last 2 games will struggle to finish 8-4 or 7-5.
If we play well tonight (even if we lose) I will feel a lot better. If we play like we did against Vandy/KState I'm going to have some long term concerns.

I’m not saying that we will win tonight, but I expect us to look better tonight than we have the last two games. We will be more focused and take better care of the ball. Rebounding and whether or not our shots are falling will determine the game.

Yea that is kind of what I want to see tonight : Were our last 2 games just the result of wandering focus or were they more physical in nature - tired legs leading to bad decisions? If it was the focus thing, then that won't be a long term problem and I agree that I expect that to be on point tonight. If it's the physical thing, that's a concern.
Hoping it's mental (which is totally understandable as it happens to everyone, the key is to win the games where your focus starts slow).

I’m hoping the last 2 games was just our guys thinking they were better than the other team and not taking it seriously

And hallelujah, it’s not a 9PM tip tonight.

We are #40 in the newest NET.
Auburn fell 5 spots to #25. They probably won’t be a Q1 win after Saturday

Big opportunity for the Tide tonight.
What’s at stake:
- Q1 road win.
- Pull to within a game of 1st place.
- Avoid joining the 3-loss logjam in the conference standings.
- Well positioned to sweep LSU by stealing one on the road.
- Momentum heading into a 2-game home stand.

“Herb’s the ideal matchup – Herb’s 6-7, 6-8 and Trendon’s a 6-9 wing,” Oats said. “But depending on our matchups and their matchups, different guys may have to guard him.”

He’s their tallest player so our bigs have to be ready to guard him, but he’s playing the 3 so our wings have to be able to guard him as well.”

The Ant Man era at Georgia has been a colossal failure. You know Creen and Georgia were looking to have a great one and done year with him to put Georgia on the map for more blue chip recruits (many of which live within 100 miles of UGA). They might not make any postseason tournament and even if they do Edwards won't play.

Crean can sell ice to an eskimo so I'm sure they'll sign more top tier recruits. Their fans should probably be a little concerned that he is burnt out from all the bullshite he had to deal with from Indiana's lunatic fanbase though. They should be a lot better than they are and their offense resembles nothing he put on the floor at Marquette or Indiana.
