They're likely gonna work us inside. This is going to take a great shooting performance IMO to steal a win.

I hope we can get them in foul trouble.

They way they drive and crash I'm pretty concerned about us and fouls

Busey is right, only way we win that game is make a bunch of shots.....which is possible.

Also can't afford to hand over 12 pts off of unforced turnovers

We gave up 22 tonight. Is it even possible to give up more than that?

This is our problem in my opinion. We play fast and hard and I believe we are winding down. Mistakes increase and shooting percentage drops

It makes sense. Let's say JQ was eligible and Rojas and Gary were healthy. Not sure on Rojas, but Gary was allegedly looking good in practices before he got hurt and JQ has allegedly looked great in practice all season. If we are being conservative those 3 guys would have combined to average 30 minutes a night. Over the course of the now 19 games we have played that's 570 minutes. That is over 14 games worth of minutes that our healthy and eligible players would not have on their legs.

You don't win 10 out of 13 games while playing good on the road @Kentucky, Florida, and Penn State with smoke and mirrors.

Bruce Weber with the backhanded compliment

K-State coach Bruce Weber on Kira Lewis: "I think as he grows and learns how hard he can play -- how hard he should play -- he has a chance to be special."

Yep - and unfortunately, there isn't much chance it gets better. No off weeks or chances to sit guys.

It just is what it is.

I feel like Bama players figured we had these last two games won before we walked on the court.

I suspect we will see a different effort and better basketball on Wednesday. At least I hope so.

Not to bring up bad old memories but how valuable would Jared Butler be to us right now?

It's much better to discuss these issues after a 2-0 week than a 0-2 week

I don't even think about that. Kira came early because of it and he left because we made a medical decision that was thought was in his best interest.

It's not even really a 1 for 1 situation, you know?

I wonder if Oats will have some easier practices just to try to help us out. Maybe just film study and shooting
