I can tell you one of the most important for Bama and SEC is this game vs KSt. May be the tying/winning game in the challenge.

It will be difficult to argue for the SEC to be a 5+ bid conference without going .500 in this challenge.

Need State to beat OU.

Been a good one so far and looks like it will come down to the end.

This too. The bottom half of the B1G is probably going to dominate the bubble so the last thing we need is the BigXII having an advantage over us as well.

I think if MSU and LSU pull it off, we win the challenge based on Bama beating KSU

I have faith in 2/3 from UK/UF and Ark

I think TAMU and TN get boat raced.

Florida beating number 1 Baylor would be huge. I think Florida is actually favored in that one.

I'll be happily surprised if both Miss St and LSU win, both are in close games on the road.

Bama has arguably the most to overcome if we lose the challenge considering implications for # bids from SEC

SEC teams project wins w only future wins against Kenpom ranked 80+

AU- 22W
LSU- 20W
UK- 18W
UF- 18W
Ark- 19W
MSU- 19W

Bama- 18W (incl KSU)

Losing to KSU/B12 challenge probably would require Bama to either make a regular season run or 2W in the SEC tournament would be my guess

I want them to win.

ETA: Let them keep skating by long enough for it to bite them in the arse when we play them.

So my end of January NCAAT view. I think we get 5 bids and I think it will be Bama/UF fighting for #5

The locks are less about quality and more about projected record / remaining schedule for LSU/AU/Ark who I think all will be 20+ W. UK gets in on name recognition regardless of how they do

Locks unless epic collapse

- LSU
- AU
- Arkansas

- UK: Between #BlueBlood #NameBrand and MSU/Lousvill wins

Bubble Teams (Both I think deserve to make it in but shafted by SEC OOC crap play)

- UF
- Bama

Outside looking in without a run

- MSU
- Tennessee

Alabama still has plenty of chances to play themselves comfortably into the tournament.

You're speculating how many SEC teams get in, which is pretty tough to speculate.

Bama is also an injury away from not sniffing the tournament.

Ok? So are a lot of teams. Can't really predict injuries.

Why do they think TAMU gets boat raced?
they are playing a team who is winless in big12 play, at home.

They might lose, but I doubt it's by much if they do. I think they will win that one personally.
