1. He works for cbs

2. I’m not stressing, but most brackets don’t have us currently in them, so that’s what I was saying that we need to beat arky and win at least one on the road vs miss st, Auburn, or LSU

3. There is a month left in the regular season, it's not like we are discussing this in December.

There is a .1% chance that Auburn plays like this against us. Even when they have a better squad they treat Bama coming into town as the superbowl

That's generally how rivalries work

How many more years will Bob Huggins coach? I thought his health would have forced him to retire by now.

I hate how "Press Virginia" hype basically allows his teams to get away with murder.

We have one of their transfers at Guard and he is averaging about 5 fouls every 15 minutes of game time he plays.

His foul rate per 40m went from 4.8 in both SO/JR year to 6.5 while his STL rate went from 2.8-3 stl/40 to 1.1%. it is real

When it comes to schools like WVU/UVA, somehow their high pressure on ball fouls are viewed as just good defense

Yea, no reason to pay attention right now. There’s so much time and so many things can change.

You do realize the seasons almost 3/4ths over right? It’s almost February, the regular season ends the first of March.

You do realize there’s a whole lot that can happen and everything people are putting out are just guesses?

We have 13 games left not counting the SEC tournament. A ton of crap can just happen with us during that stretch, not to mention all of the others teams in basketball.

Well if a few days til February is too early to speculate what games you need to win to get into the tournament then I don’t know when you can do it.

How does LSU keep winning? They don’t really look like a good team to me but they always win. Today is probably the best I’ve seen them play so far

They get every break and bounce.

Idk they have won a lot of close ones for sure, did last year too. They are really good in the last 5 minutes of games. They are due to lose one of them though, would love for us to go there and beat them.

Maybe they get paid double for good plays they make in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Two guys. One averages about 15 minutes a game and the other has played two minutes all year.

How I imagine Will Wade's end of game timeouts going.

Looks like Tevin Mack is as inconsistent as ever. Since his good game vs Duke where he scored 22 he, he scored 7 vs WF and has 2 points today vs Louisville with 9 minutes left.

He has scored under 10 points in seven of their last eleven games and is averaging around 30 minutes a game.

I'd rather have Shack getting those minutes personally.

My mistake. He was at ESPN for years though and the particular employer a media talking head works for doesn't change my opinion.

I agree we need to beat Arkansas. We do not need to win any of those road games you mentioned though. We just need to avoid getting our asses beat in them. NET loves us relative to our record and NET is the most important factor in determining the field. If we win the rest of our home games starting tonight we just need to steal a bit of the lower hanging fruit like Ole Miss, UGA, or Mizzou on the road to feel pretty good about ourselves going into the SECT. Obviously that would change if we lose one at home. I think the reason a lot of brackets don't have us in is because we just don't have much breathing room due to our overall record. Even if NET loves us 17 wins isn't going to be good enough and 18 would probably be a coin flip for us.

I don't necessarily disagree with that, but having Mack on this team would've been super helpful. Another 6'6" body that can shoot and rebounds pretty well.
