Plus he would have gobbled up all of our misses at the rim

not sure this is comparable. Seeing Bama Bball play in person is very accessible to BHam residents. Home games are less than hour away

Compare that to playing in Huntsville which has a popular bball culture, where seeing Bama play regularly is inaccessible at over 4 hr round trip.

Yep - pretty much exactly the point I made up the thread. It's a different dynamic.

I really like having a yearly game in Huntsville. Both Pearl and Avery did a good job basically playing 1-2 games a year in Birmingham/Huntsville/Mobile.

If we can win our last two games of the month, I imagine our ranking would significantly improve.

Today is Coach Oats 22nd wedding anniversary. And he has the tallest Christmas tree I’ve ever seen.

Would be a solid Q2 win.

I fully expect this team to play their way onto the bubble by the end of the season.

Auburn has the 3rd hardest schedule in the league and is undefeated. That just makes me want to puke. I could live with them being competitive but to be dominating like that...the wasted talent (Donta, Colin, Retin) and the wasted years, I just want to cry for Bama basketball.

I want to cry too. Just thinking about Donta, Collin, Retin, Levi, JaMychal, Tony Mitchell......like you said so much wasted talent

I’m seeing Bama -1. Thought we’d be a little more of a favorite than that.

Nervous about tonight. Basically a must win game at this point in the season against a really solid team.

Samford was basically the JV version of Belmont, so if we don't play a little better on defense we might give up 110.

So KenPom has a cool feature where they compile the individual stats for players (the advanced stats they have) and then give you a "similar" list that includes players from the past, specifically players seasons from the past. It gives you an idea of how guys years so far might compare to other players you remember in past years.

2020 Jaden Shackelford's comp is 2010 Marshall Henderson, which was his freshman year at Utah.

Basically the game tonight is a coin flip. The guys better be focused for this one or they'll get another mid-major arse whooping. A win would be very nice, a loss disappointing but not shocking. These are the kind of games you have to win to make progress. Dial it in, baws! You've got to play ball tonight.

If nothing else tonight will be entertaining. We both run, we both play fast and we both shoot a ton of 3's.

Sorry, forgot it's Saturday. I'm thinking weeknight, so it's a night game.
