Bama pulling away from Tech now. Not a bad showing for playing an ACC also-ran. This is exactly the type of team Avery’s Alabama always struggled with. This would be a close game last year. Instead, we are comfortably ahead and able to work on some things.

Hoover went to my high school in Tennessee.

Hoover is definitely a guy to keep on the radar as a possible permanent replacement for Stewart if it became necessary.
