Unfortunately Barkley couldn't read or write and he wasn't eligible to come to Bama

When has literacy been a requirement for collegiate athletes? North Carolina players still can't read

Barkley only chose AU over Bama (and UAB) because we guaranteed he would start FR year. Bama had much higher regwrded Micky D All American Bobby Lee Hurt in the class

But seriously, beat the brakes off those illiterate trash cans next week. Would be a great win for the SEC

You shouldn't say that about a future governor of Alabama.
plus if Hurt Whatley and Rex Jones could read and write so could Barkley.
Don't think that had anything to do with it. Barkley was short and fat and Wimp probably thought he was getting the cream of the crop by getting Hurt and Whatley. Their recruitment was a circus while Barkley slipped under the radar.
Turns out Barkley was the best among them.

UNC spread on Wednesday, over or under 17.5? 20?

Really thought we would win by more than that. Since they are a blue blood, we must not want to embarrass them

Penn has now won at Alabama and Providence, but lost at Rice and Lafayette.

Penn beats their second Power-6 Conference team of the season as they beat Providence 81-75. Power Conference teams should never schedule this Penn again.

How did Penn lose to Lafayette?

Lafayette only turned the ball over five times for one.

We turned it over 19 times against them for reference.

And we still woulda/coulda/shoulda won the game if our career 80% FT shooter knocks those two down at the end of that game.

Wow. What a win by Penn State. Despite trailing for most of the game, the Nittany Lions went on a 16-2 run over the final 5:38 to take down Yale.

Izaiah Brockington was a major performer for PSU in this one with 15 points off the bench.

We play PSU on 12/14.

After the opening loss to Hampton, the ladies team has won all their games. Beat Tulane today 66-56. Not sure if they’ve been tested yet.

A few different wins on the road too. Hopefully the Hampton loss was just a fluke.
