Y’all see Wiseman is reinstated to come back after 12 games?

That's pretty standard treatment for them for this type of issue. It's benefited us a couple of times too. Remember Ha Ha's issue and more recently Colin Sexton? They had to 'repay' the value they got and served some suspension. They actually have a schedule of how much = how many games. Wiseman should have gotten 9 games, but Memphis flipped off the NCAA and played him 3 games when he should have been ineligible so now it is 12. If they'd sat him in those 3 he would be back before conference play started.

From the player's side, I'm good with it. It always seemed not quite right to end a season or career because a young guy got led astray by people that should be leading them down the right path.

IMO, the person and entities that should get slammed in this case are Hardaway and Memphis. First Memphis because they played a guy they KNEW had a potentially significant NCAA issue. At the very least, they need to lose a couple of scholarships.

Then there's Hardaway. He's been using Wiseman to benefit himself from day 1. Moving him wasn't to help Wiseman, it was to help Penny Hardaway. Other than Rick Pitino, I can't think of a recent coach that deserves a show cause more than him.

I’m not saying he’s innocent, but I tend to not think the worst of people when their names are dragged through the dirt over accusations. That shite ruins lives.

Oh, I completely agree. I retired a couple of years ago after working almost 20 years for a state level prosecuting agency. If I learned anything at all in that time it was to not make a decision about guilt or innocence based on news reports or what happens early in a case. You gotta see what the evidence shows.

A good example of why you should never overreact to someone who is simply accused of a crime. Can you imagine trying to come back from false accusations of this magnitude?

I know nothing about this other than a quick google, but he was arrested as part of a police sting for soliciting underage girls.

I'm not sure how that lead to trafficking charges

I posted the day it hit the news, that the charges would probably never stick.

Oklahoma State just received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA that includes Level 1 infractions.

You have to imagine that one is coming for Auburn. Lamont Evans was guilty of the same crime as Chuck Persons.

Here’s a look at current record for each SEC team along with the combined record of the opponents they’ve played. Wouldn’t overreact to this since teams can't control opponents' non-conference schedules, but it’s a starting point for those who like to keep track.

I don't watch Georgetown very often, they look pretty damn good. Has Ewing been that good of a coach for them? I really thought that they screwed up hiring him

Did he make any shots from more than five feet? If so then he may still make Pistons roster. Looks like he may get there eventually.

Horry is my favorite Bama player. Hernandez or Fernandez that played for Kentucky back then, would always start shite with Horry. Horry didn't back down

Horry has to be in everyone's Top Five. If you include his Pro career,he is probably number one. What a player he turned out to be.
So disappointed we never reached Final Four with his group. We always lacked depth.
If we could have gotten one or two top players from outside our recruiting zone we would have made it. If Barkley had joined Wimps class that year we probably make it.

You are right. Unfortunately Barkley couldn't read or write and he wasn't eligible to come to Bama.
