That was a good Petty game. Lot of hustle, pretty good defense, made a few shots, didn’t really try to do anything too crazy, etc

I wouldn’t say we have terribly negative fans. It’s just watching this shite show game after game, coach after coach, is extremely hard.

Last 10-12 minutes were really solid.
I hope we found something there. The offense was much smoother, guys were playing with confidence and the team defense was solid.

Bitching to eachother is basically the only thing that gets me through these things.
Also it means I don't verbally bitch to my wife which keeps me married.

They have been playing hard. Effort isn't a problem. The biggest issue is the turnovers. After that the lack of depth. The depth issue obviously isn't going to get any better, so hopefully they start to get more comfortable in the offense and cut back on the turnovers.

As much as we may have not liked his coaching, Avery did us quite the solid by finding Shackelford. I don’t think we win tonight without him.

They do seem to be improving a little each game. And our players seem to be dropping like flies between games too. Does Nate take a 2 x 4 to them in the locker room?

I'll try my best at sunshine pumping here. So we were already shorthanded and had to play even more shorthanded on top of that, had 22 turnovers, looked like dog shite most of the game, and still beat a fairly decent mid-major.
Now since that's out the way. I hope Alex Reece & Galin Smith are working really hard in the classroom. Not only so they can be successful young men, but also so they can both graduate early and find another school that's suitable for them. We need those two scholarships for more competent frontcourt players.
