The offense is predicated on throwing deep balls to stretch the defense and open up the run. If you don't understand such a simple scheme concept then no one can help you

You have guy who “waited for his turn”, was a Team Captain, and is eschewing a certain NIL paycheck to go NFL because he’s absolutely a Gump who is Too Full Of BAMA. You are going to sit that guy after riding int LANK for a full season? Are you shitting me?

The irony is the guy you love to insult (Milroe) did very similar. He stayed at Alabama when bigger offers came in NIL, he was a Gump at heart and while limited like Ty, he tried his best.

You guys insult him still as if he didn't even win an SEC championship and go undefeated against UGA.

You got down voted to hell, (for whatever that’s worth)…but you’re exactly right. Anyone in leadership would tell you, it isn’t that guys place to pull himself. As a leader or coach you make that call.

I don’t care about downvotes on here anymore. It’s slowly turned into TideFans lite the last few years.

Think about what kind of teammates a lot of the people in here would be. LOL. They would panic, fall apart and quit at the first sign of adversity. Just no ability to make a plan and work through it.

You keep complaining about deep balls when defenses were playing cover two. The issue isn’t deep balls, the issue is defenses didn’t need to commit the front seven against the run because a four man front was getting just as much penetration.

Defenses weren’t playing eight or nine in a box with close safeties against us because our run game was generating -1 yards before contact

The secondary issue from Mizzou on is that defenses were pass rushing aggressively. Edges would be pinning their ears back every play because 75% of the time it was a pass play and even if it was a run we wouldn’t bust through for a gain.

I swear you’re just trolling at this point lol. Our run wasn’t an issue of our pass, like Milroe. Our run was an issue of our line just being unable to consistently execute play calls; whether it was getting to the second level or not missing a key block somewhere along the line each play

Wasn't the main negative in abandoning deep throws simply the defensive backfield increasingly sitting on the intermediate /short passes we had so much success with the first half of the season?

When did we abandon deep throws?
