How do we know Mack would be good?

Question could be asked about any player that isn't a starter and hasn't played many snaps. Coach has him second string though, that has to account for something. I have seen him play and he looked good. It's just my opinion though, not at practices :)

I know someone that's been in practice... Before the season started, they were confident Mack would be the starter. Says he was THAT good and the players really liked him.

I'd love to see more of him.

What do you think the difference is in Tys throws vs Arch?

I have no clue maybe fear or trust.

Arch like Milroe suck at reads and accuracy but they trust to throw it out there. Ty who is supposed to be very accurate doesn't seem to..

Also, Ty reads really slowly at times so by the time he finally sees it the ball is late and short.

When Ty was playing first pick level he was reading quicker, making definitive decisions, squaring his shoulders and getting the ball accurately in tight spaces.

Even then he never threw an accurate deep ball. He did hit RW once and that inconsistent guy dropped it

With all the Mack talk, where’s Carlton?

Looking at Arkansas, their QB is really good

So the guy with fewer TD's and three times as many interceptions as Ty is really good, despite having a good running game, but for some reason Simpson is average with no running game and the entire offense on his shoulders.

Some of these takes are wild.

That’s an outdated mentality in today’s CFB world. But we’re not the coaches who have to try to convince these guys to stay to make sure we don’t lose too many guys

Guys like Keelon dont win national championships. Boring game managers like JJ McCarthy, Will Howard, Stetson Bennett win championships

Way I see it is if shite goes sideways at the AU game then CKD better make a decision (unlike last year).and change things up. I can respect a coach making game day decisions to win. Even the GOAT did it.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.
But you have to least roll the dice.

Watson, Burrows, Young, etc are the exception. There are far more GMacs, Jake Cokers, Stetson Bennets, McCartheys etc. You have some higher level game managers like AJ, Mac Jones and the Clemson guy(who was a true freshman when he won and whose name is escaping me).

Bryce Young and Tua(as starter) never won a championship.

What a shitty take. He’s not good, he’s elite. It’s going to be some serious competition in the spring I think Number 12 is the guy.
I think they tell Ty to move on.

Tua definitely won a championship that hurts lost

Mac isn’t a game manager he is elite.

Bryce wins a championship had he not lost both corners and all his WRs

That as a starter qualifier is so stupid. Tua played the entire second half and overtime. We had zero points when he came in. He played the only part of that game that mattered. And they both likely have championships as starters if not for injuries.

Im just glad message board fans dont make decisions. The whole coaching staff and University President would be fired by now. Wed have already run out Ty, replaced him with Keelon, then benched him, pulled his NIL, played Mack, benched him, and be 0-11

What current starting SEC quarterbacks would you want in the IB next week? instead of Simpson?
