This, coupled with trying to assassinate the Republican candidate for president, is far more evidence of someone being a Democrat than anything you can possibly dream up otherwise.

It's sad that this has to be explained to you.

No, a current and future president attending a football game does not make the event political. If they brought him out to midfield at halftime to give a speech to the crowd, that would be political. Or if players came out during pregame to kneel for the national anthem, that would be political.

Someone attending a football game is not political.

We're all entitled to our own opinion, but I think you may be suffering from TDS.

I agree. You nailed Joe Biden to the letter with all that. Joe Biden is absolutely the worst piece of shite DC can produce.

Certain members of the UA faculty have been pushing an inquiry to the university admin about disavowing any support of this visit by the former president. There was even suggestion of somehow preventing a private citizen ticket holder from being allowed to attend. It is pretty wild to see the seethe.

The hate and narratives y'all generate over politicians on both sides is amazing. You would think they were football coaches .

that's insane. As a University, they are at least partially funded by the federal government directly. When you add in federal government-backed college loans, the reliance on the federal government balloons. Even ignoring all that, the federal government unfortunately wields great power over public education across the country.

Could you imagine being in favor of federal government intervention into and funding of public college institutions, where you work, and then taking such a stance against someone who will soon be in charge of those institutions? It doesn't make any sense. Anyone dumb enough to take such a stance against their own employment potential should be seriously reconsidered as qualified to teach anyone to think critically about any subject.

If you're that opposed to the man who will very likely be your boss, indirectly at the very least, then the thing to do is start looking for another job, grin and bear it for 4 years until the next guy comes along, or maybe even retire. I couldn't imagine trying to push my bosses to publicly humiliate someone who could quite possibly be their boss within the next 4 months.
