Very weird that TRob turned down the DC job at Alabama compared to be a Co-DC at UGA

We don't know that he did. We just know he interviewed and is staying at UGA. Maybe he had unreasonable demands. Maybe DeBoer didn't like his plans for the defense. We'll probably never know.

He couldn't convince TRob to stay and he's going to get Minter?

And you know this how? Maybe they just didn’t click - or had different philosophies. Stop reading the Rant.

The guy will hire who fits his style.

I dont think we will ever know, but if he demanded the DC spot right out of the get go who knows what he asked for now

Another one. You don’t know this at all.

Not sure what this is supposed to mean. I have my own opinion independent of what the idiots on the rant say.

You're right. I don't know what happened, but TRob isn't going to be at BAMA next year nonetheless.

My point is that DeBoer needs to put a staff together more than he needs a splash hire at DC, even if he just brings his staff with him from UW.

The idea that fans won't like opponents scoring 24 points is completely moronic. Who gives a shite? I guarantee if Coach DeBoer coaches BAMA to 14-1 in 2024 or 2025, what the opponents do won't matter. Even if BAMA loses in the natty. Nobody gives a frick that UK scored 21 vs BAMA. And if you do, you're worried about the wrong thing.

They gave up 24 or more in 9 of their 15 games last year

People would lose their frickin minds here

So you'd rather win 10-0 than 49-21?

If your team is 14-1 in year 2 of the HC's tenure, you play for a natty, and you lose your mind because the team gives up more than 24 points in 9/15 games, you need fricking therapy.

I was going to say it nicer but basically if we are better on offense we could bend on defense.

We did give up 20 or more in a large majority of our games this year. I guess those 4-5 pts are worth losing your mind over.

I know, and apparently there were BAMA fans losing their minds over it.

Sorry, Boz.
