That is not what I am saying. He isn't transferring until after this season at the earliest - that puts him through 2 years at Bama. Assuming that Hurts has the job and he isn't in the competition any more, I would expect him to look around - but if he transfers then, he isn't playing anywhere during 2017 even in trash time because NCAA rules say he sits a year. The smart move would be stay at Bama, finish his degree in 3 years, get 2017 trash time snaps, and then go wherever he wants in 2018. As a grad transfer he would be immediately eligible like Phillip Ely and Alec Morris.
