Either way both of them sucked. The def didnt improve one bit, and the play calling was horrible all season long. 3rd and long we used to come up with some exotic style blitz. This is what happens when you get people in positions they're not suited for. I think Saban knew we were screwed going into this game which explains the way he seemed during it and after it.

Facts. I knew it had to hurt him too...being such a defensive guy and having to pretty much play for nothing but touchdowns to have a shot.

I keep seeing people talk about his recruiting ability as if there aren't any other good recruiters out there. We had great recruiters every year before Lupoi, and we will continue to have great recruiters. I couldn't care less about a guy's recruiting ability if he can't coach, because there are other guys out there who can recruit well...especially to a place like Alabama.
