Both these guys need to see the field this year. Tony Brown at money and some safety. And Kendall Sheffield on the outside at CB when Minkah Fitzpatrick moves to Star.

How many games is Tony suspended by the NCAA? He has kept his nose clean since the fight.

Sheffield is our best bet outside opposite to Humphrey when Fitzpatrick moves to star. I am excited for the secondary with Jackson and Harrison at safety.

Probably the best secondary we have had since 2011.

I don't believe he was in an actual fight. I think he failed a drug test.

Saban made a comment, during spring practice I believe, that alluded to it.
I'm not sure how many games he will miss. He sure didn't miss any track time

I think he missed half the track season and I want to say Cecil has alluded that he'll have to miss the same amount of time for football.

From what I've read, I was thinking Anthony Averett was in line for lots of PT at the opposite outside corner...but I could be wrong. Regardless, I think both he and Sheffield will see a good deal of time in the secondary this year...

Sheffield is ahead of Averrett in the rep line.

It'll be interesting to see how the secondary finishes shaping out.

My gut tells me Tony Brown is finished.

He wouldn't be on the team anymore if that was the case.

Not necessarily. He may not be "finished" as in kicked off the team, but it seems his ship has sailed. And if it hasn't, it's getting mighty close.

It's gonna be "next man up" really soon...

The reason he hasn't been "processed" yet is because he is ultra talented and is a 1st round type talent.

Double A is getting some push as the 3rd corner, earning the staff's trust.

Like a Sylve or Perry, he's just understands what is needed.
