Tommy was exactly was most of the calm, smart Notre Dame folks said he was. A guy who had a really good football mind, could draw up some really good stuff, but wasn't nearly seasoned enough in overall game call management to put together a full game of play calls that seemed to play well off eachother.

He adjusted to Jalen's skillset and had some really nice halftime adjustments, but there would just be stretches of drives or play calls that didn't seem to make sense and would turn into entire quarters of absolutely no offensive production. It was better than BoB, but not in the same stratosphere as Sark or Kiff. It was reminiscent of some of the Nussmeier offenses, IMHO.

It’s hard to judge Rees because he was put in a similar situation as Daboll, where the playcalling was limited by deficiencies in the quarterback. We didn’t have the benefit of pre-snap reads or Milroe shifting the line after picking up a blitz. We also abandoned the middle of the field passing game after the disaster that was Texas.

I have literally no fear of OSU because BOB will render OSU impotent against any decent defense.

O'Brien was only at Ohio State a few weeks before he accepted the head coaching position at Boston College. Which kind of sucks because I've always kind of liked BC and I wanted BOB to slow down the Buckeye offense.

LOL, I remembered that but forgot Chip Kelly is the OC for the Buckeyes now.
