Riley has always been able to shoot. Give him a chance to catch and shoot, and he's money. Make him create off the dribble, not so much. All of his made 3s last night were spot up 3s. He would have had one more if Retin had given him a good pass late in the game. But he threw it at his knees and Riley missed the shot.

Fun game, but we can't rely on the opponent missing wide open 12-15 foot shots every game. SC just had one of those nights where nothing went right.

Oh, and anybody that has seen Lawson play in HS knows the kid can score from anywhere once he crosses half court. Loved seeing him hit that 3.

This is another disappointing loss. I'll give Curry one more year before I'm done with her.

This is the second year in a row she's had an impressive record going into SEC play and completely imploded in conference.

I don't think Alabama will ever have consistency in women's basketball.

I think we were projected last so I expected us to struggle in conference play, but not even being competitive is hard to accept.

Vanderbilt football is competitive at times, why in the hell cant WBB at least put a good product on the floor once every 4 pr 5 years? I'm really not sure why this bothers me so bad, but it does. Sucking sucks

Vandy is a huge game as far as our ncaa tournament hopes.

Very true. Vandy is facing a similar scenario as us right now. They started conference play with 3 straight losses until beating Auburn. Luke Kornett was huge in that game, getting a triple-double.

They've had some close losses to Dayton, Baylor, Purdue, and Kansas. They sit right now at 68 in the RPI ranking and have 0 wins vs the top 50 RPI.

I have no idea, Cecil Hurt thinks it's some form of trash talk.

That's far more tame than the trash talk I heard back in my athletic days.

Was Kessens who got hit in the nose on the flagrant foul?
I really didn't think it was a flagrant, but that's beside the point. Maybe that's what he's talking about.

I know Vandy has underwhelmed based on preseason expectations, but it would be our biggest win of the season.

Agreed, handling success is hard. I hope they come out hungry after the big win against Carolina.

Jerry Palm has us in as a 10 seed in his latest projection. Long way to go, but it's mid January and there's a chance.

Did Kessens dunk on him at one point? Looking up into his nose? I dunno.

Always knew that fricker was picking his nose under his jersey. He thought he could away with it by acting like he was wiping the sweat off his face...
