Got to see the second half. Can't believe when I tuned in, Bama was winning with RO drawing a blank in the first half. Speaks to the growth of this team.

Really, Bama statistically speaking is a much better team when RO isn't so heavily relied on. Without looking it up, I think when he has less than 15 points, Bama is 10-1 (lone loss coming to Oregon). However, we have a very poor record when he has 15+.

When players like Coleman and Norris step up, Bama can play with anyone in the league not named Kentucky.

Still very pissed that the team shoots so poorly at the charity stripe when the game is on the line. This isn't just a temporary thing either, it's been a problem since game 1 and it's frustrating.

Yeah it's annoying. It seems like when u have a pretty decent lead with a minute left like tonight, u would be a little more comfortable and not too nervous and would be able to hit FTs but nope...

Our only chance to make it in is winning the SEC tournament.

Bama hasn't beaten Kentucky in the SEC tournament since 1983. 8 straight losses.

We can beat them. Just have to hope they have a bad game like they did against Tennessee and Auburn

I don't think we can even keep it close. I'd say Kentucky by 25.

Exactly lol. It's all about the mindset. U gotta be positive when ur not as talented as the other team. That's the only way u have a shot

Exactly, underdogs have to believe they can win.

Retin getting 2 early fouls was the best thing for Bama last night. The team had to depend on each other instead of on Retin. That should be the focus for the next game.

Well, I'm not playing, so my mindset doesn't matter, and I'm pretty sure we aren't going to win.

like they did against Tennessee and Auburn

Unfortunately it's been a little while since they've had one of those. Those games, especially Auburn, were earlier in the year. They've gotten better and more consistent as the year has gone on, as all those young Kentucky teams do.

Our best chance is if they come out sluggish as teams often do for a few minutes in their first tournament games. Maybe they'll spot us 8-10 early, we can get to halftime tied, and then shoot 70% from 3 in the second half like we did in the 1st last night. Maybe

Some stats from UK's hoops history page

Most wins ever vs UK:
Tenn 68 (220 games)
Vandy 47 (188 games)
Ala 37 (144 games)

so there's a chance?

I'd just like to see them play well and compete. We don't have an answer for their inside folks.

Good win last night though. I'll take it.

Absolutely. Last night was fun. All you can ask for is a chance against Kentucky, and the only way you have zero shot is if you're sitting at home tonight like Ole Miss.

But yea Kentucky is going to get infinity rebounds.

how does a D1 team shoot 46% from the line?

I played in a lot of basketball games in my time and not sure I ever played on a team that did that.

I mean it's laughable. At some point, I think we missed about 6 or 7 in a row.
