Our second unit next year could have Coleman, Norris, Hale and Hall on it. That's pretty damn good.

We are going to be very, very deep next year. We add 2 starter quality players in King and Ingram and all the freshmen.

PG - Ingram/Coleman/AJ Jr
SG - Ferguson/Davis/Austin
SF - King/Norris/Key
PF - Kessens/Hale
C - Taylor/Hall/TBA Freshman

We are going to be able to come at people in waves with talent and experience. Man, that is a good looking roster.

I agree they both can score though. I just worry about what happens when teams play zone and Ingram won't shoot the 3. Hopefully with Ferguson and Norris on the court it won't be an issue.

Lunardi confident in LSU getting in but not us. Without a win at Kentucky their peak RPI is about 65. Our worst RPI, assuming we win our home games, is about 35-40. Lunardi just did a 5 minute SECN segment on the tournament and our name literally didn't come up once.

Makes sense.

He is either on crack or he thinks Bama will lose one or more of the home games.....

I don't see kessens playing much next year. Riley probably got more rebounds in the LSU game than kessens has had all season.

yeah I saw that. He's disrespecting us like crazy, kind of like everyone did the football team this year. Lunardi keeps saying we don't have an explosive offense which is true most of the time, but that's all he'll say, he won't talk about us winning with this non explosive offense. He just states our offense is that way and then wants to move on and talk about the next team. What do we have to do to earn respect?

Why would Ingram not shoot the three? He's not Ben Simmons

You think Kessens starts over a healthy Hale? No way

You seen him play? He hesitates to shoot the open j. I mean he can work on it just saying.

I wonder if in college Avery slept with his woman? It's gotten so blatant, we're at the point where we know he's just trying to avoid us. If we win the ones we're supposed to we'll have a top 40 RPI. I'd be interested to see if a team has ever missed the tournament with a top 40 RPI.

What do you guys think the starting lineup will look like next year. I'm starting to like Coleman as the starting point. I like Ingram but its something about Coleman shooting the 3 and in grams ability not to. Would like to see Ingram on the wing with his length and rebounding ability.

I'm hoping for...

PG - Ingram/Coleman/AJjr
SG - Ferguson/Davis/Austin
SF - King/Norris/Key
PF - Hale/Key/Kessens
C - Hall/Taylor/Kessens

This only happens if...

A. Coleman doesn't separate himself and play with confidence or Ingram regresses.
B. King is as good as he was advertised preseason (I still struggled to put Norris on the bench.)
C. Hall works on staying out of foul trouble and Taylor continues his inconsistent play.
D. Kessens continues to be non-existent.

It's going to be interesting to see how Avery handles all this talent on the wings. The Norris/King battle should be pretty interesting. One has proven himself a deadly 3pt threat and a hard-nosed player who can rebound like a big, and one had preseason hype as our best player, but hasn't shown anything to prove it on the court.

In my opinion, if there is a position in the backcourt that can't shoot, you want it to be a PG, not a wing.

Norris is the hardest one to project going forward because he does so many little things, but King should be much more skilled than him if he lives up to how everyone has described him. I would imagine whether Norris starts or not, he'll be on the court a good bit.

Norris doesn't have the size/quickness of some but he has great vision and basketball IQ. He will get his time.

The game has slowed for both he and Coleman this year.

First time in years I woke up at 6am thinking about Ala basketball.

Hope the crowd is rowdy and we get the W!

Only reason I said a 10 point win is because (a) I don't want to have to sweat one out against a seemingly inferior team at home and (b) national perception.

But you are right, as long as we win, I'll be happy.

Gotta miss the game today guys. Nephews Bday.

Watching Georgia right now though. They seem to be a "pick and pop" offense so far.

Might need you to watch the second half on the espn/watch espn app if we are losing at halftime.
