Nothing makes me cringe like seeing an ankle get rolled. Goodness, brings back horrible memories

I hope Hale is just sitting out the 2nd half because we know what he can contribute. I also hope when games actually matter, Bola plays a lot.

I've only gotten to watch the second half, but I like this team. It has a different energy and really looks athletic

Disappointing finish, but good game overall. This could be a really good team if they put it all together, but there's still some issues.

Thought Bola was good throughout. King and Key came on late

I think Key will be a very good player for us.

Completely agree. I watched him in high school some, and he was Oak Hill's go to player when they needed a basket.

We played sloppy, made mistakes, missed free throws, and STILL scored 91 points. I know it's against a little school, but that's still pretty good. I was impressed with how they played overall. I think we'll be fine this year.

So many guys played, it was difficult to learn a lot about them. We definitely have more depth than last year. I think this team has the potential to be pretty good. Lots of interchangeable pieces.

When it comes down to crunch time late in games, i think we will see dazon, corban, riley, braxton and bola. Impressive rebounding group and best free throw shooters most likely. I like armond but worried about his defense right now.

That is what was most noticeable about last night.

Against Faulkner you're basically scrimmaging and trying out different combinations on the floor.

Loved the way the team played transition offense. Got a lot of open shot attempts by pushing the tempo.

How did the following look?

- offensive flow (specifically with Ingram at the point)
- Armond's jumper
- Nick King's game in general
- the big transfer's offensive game

The flow on offense was good when Ingram was in but terrible without him. Avery Jr. was bad in the first half but improved. He get in the lane well but can't finish.

Armond started slow but heated up in the second. To me he should clearly start at the two guard over Collins. Collins should be backup point.

Nick King had a bad game, but he does have versatility. Can drive the lane, athletic, and has a nice looking stroke although he had several bricks

Bola didn't show any stellar post moves or anything, but he played smart and had and has great speed for a big man. Even got a steal at half court and scored the other way

Yes we have at least 5 guys who can come in and drop 15 pts every night. Davis, Key, Ingram, Norris, Hale

Inconsistent, but definitely trended upwards as the game progressed. A work in progress, but overall I thought everyone did a good job of making one more pass to find open men. They did a good job finding guys around the basket and not settling for contested perimeter jump shots.

Weird delivery. But heated up as the game went on. Hoping that he is more consistent and not a streaky shooter. He has a lot of talent though.

Up and down, but as others have said, he's really versatile and can make plays all over the court.

If nothing else he provides some great depth in the post. Won't feel like there is a huge drop off between him, JT and DH.

Definitely can't recap that game without talking about how much Key is going to contribute to this team. Going to be hard to keep him off the floor. Didn't see tons of it, but he also seemed to have really good ball handling skills for a guy who is 6'8.

Davis is definitely a streaky shooter if you take a look at his juco game logs. He might go 1-12 one night and then 7-10 the next.
