I didn't start earnestly pushing for his firing until the A&M game, when Alabama completely squandered a solid lead.

First I am no troll. Second, if you think I was hoping we would lose you are dumber than you make yourself look on here. Of course I want to win and was only negative about Avery because he wasn't winning thus placing squarely on the freaking bubble where this team should never had belonged.
I admit and have admitted that I am a pessimist to the extreme and while I wish sometimes that I wasn't I won't apologize to you for it. I am as happy and maybe happier than you are about the wins and will be cheering my arse off against Kentucky.
Let's win this damn thing and then go win March. We are going to the dance again!

The February losses were distressing but the fire Avery talk was dumb af. His buyout alone precludes making that move. The team got bounced by Kentucky and will eventually get bounced in the tourney. The team is scrappy but still pretty meh....its probably the best we could have hoped for this year.
