Idiotic decision by Murphy! That batter had seven home runs prior to hitting the Grand Slam

Tough day in Red Stick for sure. Pitching collapsed in game 1 and offense collapsed in game 2. Hope to get out of there with one tomorrow. Ouch!

Alabama Softball Drops First Game of Season in 13-6 Loss to LSU (SI)

It was a disaster day in the circle for the Crimson Tide with a season high in runs, hits and free passes allowed.

Bats Go Cold in Alabama Softball's 5-1 Loss to LSU (SI)

A lot of young bats who are about learn what conference play pitching look like but the series got off on the wrong foot due to poor pitching.

Amen. Pitching set the tone for the day, which unfortunately was also the series. Need to salvage a game today.

And for those asking if Bama has played a soft schedule to date:

As Fouts goes, so goes Bama. Not enough hitting to overcome bad pitching. Hope we get less fragile as the season progresses.

Bama wins 2-1. Fouts pitched well and just enough hitting got the win.

In life stuff happens, there's no reason to cry over spilled milk. Our girls will get everybody's best shot and LSU got the best of us. We didn't pitch, hit, or field well enough to win the series.

I love the negativity from fans after a loss or two but one thing for sure is that Bama will bounce back! They just gaining some experience and hitting some pot holes in the roads early.

This is not at all directed at you (Alabama_Fan)
