Dear TIDE PRIDE Member:
We look forward to seeing you at Bryant Denny Stadium this Fall. In place of the amenities package you have received in previous years, we are excited to provide you with a link to this year's digital football media guide.
We used to give you a bunch of cool little trinkets, but we are excited to scrap that and give you.........a PDF!

Insulting. First they're saving on not having to print and mail physical tickets (which sucks), yet still charge the "service charge"...and now this crap.
What a bunch of cheap b@stards.

Printing on paper supports the Yellowood guy.

In a world of supply and demand, wood for paper competes with wood for pressure treated lumber. Printing the tickets has a small upward pressure on Yellow Wood costs.

It was always the "season is here" time - little magnets, keychains, another TidePride car tag, etc.
This is a silly little thing but it sucks.

Husband has scarred lungs and has had a heart attack, so even though we're fully vaccinated (don't care what other people do), we're not taking any chances and will stay home.
We gave most of our tickets to friends and sold a few.
It sucks because our friends are like us, not computer savy, and it took us forever to figure out how to transfer the tickets. I hate e tickets.
Also sold the LSU & Tennessee tickets on stubhub. I don't recommend this because stubhub is not going to send us our money until about 5 days after the LSU game. So, stubhub sucks by holding up our money.

For what it's worth...I think the athletic department lost a lot of money last year. All those empty seats came at a huge cost.

Get out your tiny violins...
Alabama Athletics is on the order of a 200 million per year business, which is big, but not big in terms of "really big businesses." In good times their "profit" is in the 10s of millions. Also great.
But when you have something as catastrophic as last year, limiting attendance to Football and basketball, it's a huge financial shock. I imagine they're still digging out.
