If there's 1 particular phase of Shack's game he's gotta improve on is ball handling.
Far to many unforced, careless turnovers.
Sunday night we had like an early 18-11 lead, he proceeds to turn the ball twice in a short span, sparking a big Bruins run.

Shack had a bad night against UCLA. Most mistakes on the offensive end were mirrored by a mistake on the defensive side too.

Its been a crazy year and Tourney was canceled last year but iirc teams without doing well in the tourney the year before have a low chance of making a deep run. We will check that box next year.

Yep. With several key contributors returning, along with incoming talent, we'll be even faster, along with more rim protecting depth.

Yes he does. I love Petty & Herb but I bet turnovers drop next year without them. Ballhandling in traffic(or at all in Pettys case) wasn’t really a strength

Bediako won’t change the offense at all IMO. He needs a year of seasoning on that end. Tchikou if Healthy is gonna change A LOT. He is a Guard trapped in a 6’11 240lb body. He is extremely skilled offensively.

I expect a lot of those pick and Pops for a wide open 3 that we ran for Reese a lot in Nate’s first year. And Tchikou will be a 38-40% 3pt shooter IMO. But he can also put it on the floor and blow by people too.
I read this and it moved lol

Big key with him will be health. Those Achilles injuries are no joke.

If we hit our freethrows, Rebound, Play defense and keep turnovers under 12 consistently, we will coast to the Final Four

This has been a fun tournament to watch. Happy our guys did win 2 rounds, making it to the Sweet 16.
So many crazy upsets, 1st/2nd round, however, Zags/Michigan win tonight, that'll be 3 #1 seeds & a 2 seed in the Final 4.

We’ve made one elite 8 in our existence. I don’t think coasting to a final four is something that occurs even if we suited up NBA all stars.

I do hope our talent level makes another sweet 16 appearance realistic though.

We haven't had this level of talent in a while. It rivals the 03-04 team for sure

"We're Not Done Yet": Alabama Basketball's Story is Far From Over (SI)

Following its overtime loss to UCLA in the Sweet 16, the words of sophomore guard Jahvon Quinerly perfectly define not only the past season for the Crimson Tide but also its bright future

Alabama has reached out to both East Carolina transfer Jayden Gardner and Furman transfer Noah Gurley this afternoon, a source told @Stockrisers.

Both are two of the best-available transfers in the flooded transfer portal. They’ve got plenty of suitors, respectively.
