Coach Oats tried to get three guys to the league lol.
Burnett & Griffen better take a hard look in the mirror if this is TRUE.
Down the stretch neither one of those guys played BETTER than Welch (he's the only one who should have a gripe).

Losing all three assistants in the same year is a testament of how hard those guys have been working because all of them got Head Coaching jobs...when have this been done at Alabama?

Rylan has to realize he was a true freshman who was inconsistent and if he works hard he will arguably be one of our go to guys next year

Yeah they were both terrible at the end of the year, they have no one to blame but themselves for the lack of playing time they got.
I hope Griffen stays because I like his upside but if he leaves good riddance.

What are you talking about? We just had 3 assistants get hired as head coaches, thats most assistant coaches dream is to be a head coach.
Oats ought to be able to bring in about any assistant he wants.
We haven't had any problem getting good players either.

I wonder if we hire Andrew Steele to replace Pettway. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a former player handle in state recruiting.

Saddi Washington is the perfect replacement for Hodgson, A+ recruiter and coaches bigs, same as Hodgson.
Was a volunteer assistant under Oats at Romulus.

Yes losing assistant coaches to a head coaching job is a bad look. That definitely makes sense.

It's wild that Pettway has been an assistant for like a decade and the cycle he finally gets a HC job is the same cycle we lose our two other assistants to HC jobs.

Nate should be able to pull in top notch assistants with this sudden success rate. Coaches will see a path to a HC gig here.

Whittle has said it's not him FWIW. I think it may be EC Matthews who was a player on Oats's last Romulus team and collegiate star at Rhode Island (which fits Slater's hints).
