Multiple Verified CBB insiders had it as Alabama vs Louisville

I dont get what people liked about Menifield, seems very average to me, so I am glad we didnt get him. Much better PGs still out there in the portal imo.

Yeah, one of the Twitter accounts that has been getting some of the info early hinted at us being outbidded before Tipton tweeted it. I think this is what Whittle was tweeting about. Had an uneasy feeling when Tipton said "a program from the SEC." Wouldn't put it past Muss to troll Nate like that.

Alabama should put on a full court press for Nate Calmese.

Considering that the duffel bag full of cash at the 11th hour no longer has to be passed through enough hands to bake in plausible deniability for everyone involved, insider reports regarding transfers aren't worth shite anymore. You can buy a player with a 5 minute phonecall to a booster 15 minutes before he's set to announce a commitment these days.

Pretty much have to get Q back now a and I’m someone who has posted a lot of negative Q stuff at times.

Tim Watts is saying bama backed off after reaching out and taking a first look
So maybe we’re after some other guards/veterans
Menefield would have been a nice player to develop in the system, but I trust Nate more than my own wants lmao.
If this gets us Cryer or Abmas I won’t be mad at all

Fire Kristy Curry and beg Jaden Bradley to come back. Let the door hit Quinerly where the good Lord split him. Btw! Down votes give me a woody in my britches. #ThumbViagra

Whoever the insider saying it was between us and Louisville with Ohio State being the dark horse was full of it. Have to be careful this time of year, most of the "inside information" people have is stuff they made up on their own.

Yeah Watts and Mac1 on BOL have said from the beginning we had backed off.
Every other sites insiders like Rivals and On3 said we were hard after him. Plus that Whittle guy in twitter

I mean it makes sense. It's tough to reconcile the reports of a heavy pursuit of a 6'1" 170 rising sophomore whose game relies entirely on speed with the reports that we are looking to prioritize experience and physicality in the portal.

mac1 on BOL really hasnt missed from the start
A great source

Yeah when Watts is even asking him questions and interacting with him about stuff Mac has heard….he is pretty legit

Noah Clowney is not ready for the NBA, not yet. He should return to school but if a team is willing to pay him, good luck. He's a decent rebounder and he made some big buckets from beyond the arc early in the season but I haven't seen him score off the dribble and he was not a guy you can throw the ball down to in the post and score on a guy his size or bigger. Not many in the paint moves. Look for him to be a G-League mainstay if he stays in draft much like JD Davison. Listen to me now and believe me later on. I was the first to mention Nimari testing the transfer portal(backtrack). He's gone. I don't know a lot of things but I know basketball. If I tell you a rooster piss lemonade.. Get your cup.
I'm tryna hip you.

thanks Tim. I think jQ really is 50/50 and could go either way. Despite what some people say JQ is a great kid. Not sure how hard we are going after the guy from Washington. Denver we are after hard as you said and heard same thing about RG.
This is from last night. He also said we are after BJ Mack pretty hard

Thanks. I’d love to land Denver Jones.

Whether or not he ends up playing in the NBA, it's hard to call a dude a g league mainstay only one a year out of college.

PeeWeeTider, thanks for reading my post but I'm sorry to inform you, I skip over yours every chance I get. You're basketball illiterate!
Roll Tide!
