Burnett looks to me like hes too stiff moving,or is it just me
I see it sometimes too.
Rylan is the one that really looks stiff to me a lot though. It's like his shoulders and neck have to always be facing in the same direction or something. Really excited to see his freshman to sophomore growth though. Him taking that next step would be huge for us next year.

I get the logic behind it and wouldn't be terribly upset if it came to fruition tbh.
Something has definitely gone wrong when we're not that upset about losing a 5 star McDonald's All-American to the portal. Because I agree that barring a complete turn around in year 2 it wouldn't be a huge loss.
I know he was never supposed to be an elite scorer but he was definitely supposed to be an elite facilitator and ball distributor. But I just never saw that from him this season.

Pringle would be a HUGE loss actually.

i saw a twitter post from I think his mom that said something to the fact that "you know what you got to do".
Pretty sure that was Rylan's mom.

I have a hard time understanding how a mcdonalds AA had no outside shot coming into college. and I think his FT shooting was under 70%
Talking about Bradley, right? Looks like he was 32% on 3PA which isn't that bad, but he only took 22 all year. It probably would have benefited him and us as a team if he took more. Oats mentioned at least a few times throughout the season that Bradley was a capable outside shooter and the percentage seems to indicate that as well. His FT shooting did need to be better though, I agree. Looks like he finished at exactly 70% and while that isn't terrible, i'd like my ball dominant PG to be at least 80%. If Bradley is coming back, I want him to work on his left hand and his shooting.

I wouldn't write off Jaden Bradley after hitting the freshman wall. Collin Sextons don't grow on trees. Kira Lewis basically doubled his assist and steal output from year 1 to year 2.

Bradley needs to go to a sports psychologist over the summer. His form looks fine on his FTs and his jumper. You can literally see him second guessing himself though. There is nothing remotely confident about his body language when he's at the line or has an open look from outside.
Completely agree about the left hand though. His reliance on his right is a bigger reason for his late season collapse than the lack of an outside shot.

Let me rephrase. I don't necessarily want to see Bradley leave, but I could understand it if he felt like he needed a fresh start after the whole Miller saga. I think there are other systems that may match his game better and I also think they are some PG's in the portal that may match our system better than Bradley does. Think of it like a trade - i'm not giving Bradley away for nothing, but if I can trade him for a better fit i'm doing it.

I think that is probably recency bias and a little unfair to him overall. Bradley was quite good for a long stretch this season. He finished with 114 assists and 67 turnovers. He played pretty well from like December to mid February.

Just hit a freshman wall then?

Very possible, but I’m not going to pretend that I know for sure considering everything that happened off the court. It probably can’t be boiled down to one single specific thing anyway.

I was just attributing it to a slow developing shot. He made some 3s when he had time to shoot. I’d be curious to see what his #s are in shootaround.

Isn't he going to have to sit a year?

Zack Austin would be a solid Nimari replacement, I suppose.

Probably. Don’t see how he gets a waiver.

I was mistaken earlier and it was Griffen's mom who posted on twitter that her son needed to do what he needed to do. I thought it was Bradley.
I can easily see a few more portals besides Burnett. He probably was not happy with his PT after he got back from his injury.

Was it mutual or did Oats tell him to.
I like Nimari especially his defense but he does need to work on his offensive game. I’m hopeful he lands somewhere he likes

Guy on BOL said to expect at least 1 more portal. Honestly hoping Bradley over Griffen or Pringle

I definitely don't think this is a force out. Kind of sucks to be honest. Would have been nice to have him coming off a healthy off-season.
