My stepson’s team played before and after the workout on the main court and the one thing he said after watching the workout was “how do you ever score in college? These guys are so long”. Hopefully the D will take it up a notch this year. I know they were tipping a lot of passes.

Burnett looked really good. Strong and quick going to the basket. Shoots well. He had something on his knee, but he was full bore in the scrimmage.

if this has been discussed then knock me off of here. When does the Europe trip start and will anything be on TV or live stream that does not make one subscribe to it.

Hope Oats has an open practice or scrimmage before the tour. I’ve forgotten whether we had tv or computer video of the Canada tour 4 years ago.

Who does Burnett compare to from our former players? Do yall expect he will be a starter?

I fully expect him to be a starter unless he has some sort of health setback between now and November.

Someone that’s pretty close to the team told me this group is a lot more focused on being competitive, making each other better, etc. Practice so far has been very intense. These guys seem to all be really good. Whereas last year a lot of them were focused on getting better individually, not as a team.
