Grant Williams going off in this game. Didn’t think he would be this good of an NBA player

He’s really good defensively and can make open 3s now. He’ll get paid a lot by somebody.

That should be enough time to enroll in summer classes, which is the ideal situation for most student athletes.

Grant is good, nothing special. There’s a reason he gets those wide open looks. He knocked em down today but this was by far his best game. He averages 7 pts a game. Great role player but let’s not get carried away here

Games in Phoenix. I will take Phoenix just because of that.

Luka can’t play defense but he is an offensive machine

I mean I’m not saying he’s getting a max contract. But wings that are good defenders (and he’s really good) and can hit open 3s (he shot 41% this year) are going to get paid. Just constantly in demand.

Herb is on that same track (although he was better as a rookie than Williams for sure) if he continues with the shooting improvements.

Yeah he’ll get a 10mill a year deal. He’s a solid player but no better than a 5th option on a championship team.

ATL ended up just fine off of that trade and were just in the same situation last year with the superstar they selected in that draft.

I was pissed on draft night when that trade happened, but looking at it now, it's been pretty close to even. I find it hilarious that people like to call out ATL when Sacramento and (to a lesser extent) Phoenix made FAR worse decisions for their franchise by passing on him.

Yeah that was a win-win trade. Sacramento went fit over talent and took Bagley lol. Luka is better than Trae let’s not fool ourselves, but Atlanta is happy with their end of the stick

He may be the better overall player because he's easier to hide defensively, but I think Trae is the better offensive player. The fact that Atlanta runs their entire offense directly through him with no real offensive system or play designs and they have the 2nd best offensive efficiency in the NBA (Dallas is 13th) is very telling. When he's on the floor, the Hawks had the far and away best offensive efficiency in the league the past two years. The problem is on the defensive end (which is partly his fault) and the offense when he steps off the floor (99% McMillan's fault).

Dallas winning tonight makes Avery Jr sad so that’s a win in my book.

. Very debatable, both top tier. Mavericks defense isn’t anything to write home about but definitely not as porous as Atlantas. Luka has the recency bias going on but let’s not forget he took the full strength Clippers to 6&7 in consecutive years. Mavs really have no other 2nd star. Collins is better than any of Lukas teammates. I guess it comes down to personal preference and mine is Luka.
