Wouldn't be a bad move on his part. Play starters minutes and be one of the top options on a dreadful team then grad transfer elsewhere when you might have more options after Hoiberg is fired.

Jaelin Llewellyn would still be a good get. He could play the the shooting guard position so to speak. He's a good enough shooter and probably an even better one in our offense because of the open looks he would have.

Has anyone mentioned AJ Green from Northern Iowa? Averaged over 18/game with 7.7 three point attempts a game and shot 39% from three. He's 6'4". Might be a scoring guard option.

Houstan’s shot was inconsistent at best, but he’d get much higher quality looks at a consistent rate here. Akot will be more appealing if we can get a proven shooter at the 2/3 as well.
