I really need someone to watch all these tranfsers film and let me know if they are athletic and if they can defend.

Based on the evidence, it looks like Reeves and Llwellyn are our top targets. "Defensively unimpressive" would be the nice way of describing their advanced statistics. I haven't seen any film on the defense though.

Having said that, that Reeves kid is one of the most impressive mid-major transfer guards I've ever seen on film. He shot efficiently in every sense, but when you factor in the amount of stepbacks and deep threes he shot, his stats are even more incredible. Super tight and impressive handle. I'd argue more impressive handles than JQ. His assist numbers don't back it, but I'd be interested in how him running point would look if he had better players around him. Him not being 1st Team All-MVC is a total joke.

Dude is drilling them from a couple of feet past the NBA line even though it looks like an older sister taught him to shoot.

I'm kinda confused about why he's not declaring to at least get feedback. He's a junior so it's not like there's any harm in it.

Yes indeed. I think Llewellyn can be a much better defender. He's very crafty with his offensive game shoot overall just a smart player.

He's knocked down big shots and made big plays in tough/tight games

Our Ladies are really battling. Came back from 17 down to take a 5 point lead late in 3rdQ. We look tired so I hope we can hang on!

ETA: Britt hit a 3 to end the quarter. Up 8 starting the 4th. Roll Tide Ladies!

I dont know if he is related to him... But Miller is good, i think our fans really dont realize it. I honestly thought when kansas and the G league got involved that we wouldnt be able to sign him. The kid values relationships and coach oats and the staff really built that relationship

Yea, it's just hard to judge players who play on bad defensive teams because there aren't many defensive metrics that can easily separate individual play from team play.

I saw some analysis on twitter that Reeves hasn't been great but seems to have tools to be an average defender or better. His offensive toolbox is very impressive.

Girls about to choke the 4th quarter.

Down 2 with 19 seconds left

Edit: down 5 with 14 seconds to go, their seasons done. Outscored by 13 so far in the 4th quarter sadly

Really sloppy 4Q and barely getting the ball in Davis’s hands the whole Q. Bad coaching, unfortunately.

SDS just hit game winner

Major target for us in the 2025 class.

Kind of reminds me of Trae Young's shot. Doesn't look pretty, but it's effective and has a super quick release.

Yeah, I'm baffled that he isn't more on the draft radar. I looked at a lot of his game highlights to see if this video was just a collage of his most impressive moments. But it's the same thing over and over: deep threes, tight handles getting by his defender with ease, floaters off the glass and step-back threes. Spot up threes were more of a rarity than the stepbacks and deep threes.
