Oats on JD: "He's been better than what I thought in a lot of areas. His passing ability...he can really pass the ball. He's leading the team in assists through these first five practices. He's playing really well."

"Darius Miles, had to get a lot more consistent, he's gotten stronger. Consistency starting to get around. Great day of practice is becoming great days in a row. Turnovers have to come down, playmaking ability and shotmaking is all there."
