Alabama with a nice group of recruits on campus today. Starts with newly-minted member of the Tide’s 2022 class and one of the nation’s top guards, Jaden Bradley.

His teammate, Jarace Walker, is also on an official visit. Four-star senior Kimani Hamilton also on an unofficial.

Nate Oats getting his lead 2022 commit on campus with potentially more members for their 2022 class is huge. I have high hopes in Bama’s recruiting class for ‘22.

I have to keep reminding myself of this because I've caught myself star chasing a few times already this off-season.

Kentucky, UCLA, Duke, and North Carolina leading college basketball in the national championship count says otherwise

Most of those ncs coming before five star was a concept. Hell, half of UCLA's NCs consisted of starless teams. Duke next to last NC team prob. didn't play a day in the NBA (the one that beat Butler).

Only UK had an nc team full of five stars.

You don't think guys like Jordan, James Worthy, Kareem, Bill Walton, Christian Laettner, Grant Hill, etc. would have been 5*s if recruiting rankings had existed when they were high school seniors?

Hey, if sweet 16, round of 32, or elite 8 exits are your thing, heck, let’s keep the Herb Jones & Jimmie Taylor’s coming in. We’ll continue to be in basketball what the UCF’s and South Carolina’s are in football.

Personally, I’d like some national championships. So yeah, sign me up for wanting the better players. It’s a weird equation and really tough to grasp, but yes, better players lead to better teams.

I remember when Maryland won it all with a team that didn't have any McD All Americans, while Duke's all star team lot to Mike Davis's IU. What was Emeka Okafor's ranking in high school? Ja Morant's?

Even if you got a five star, it might not be enough? Remind me how Johnny Juzang did at UK? Devin Booker? Hell, Tyler Herro?

You almost came close to making a pretty decent post right here, except for the fact that you continue to shite on Herb Jones for no reason. Do you have a personal vendetta against him for some reason? Herb should have more respect and admiration from our fan base than probably any other player in the last 20-30 years.

NFL teams should always trade away their 1st round picks and load up on 6th and 7th rounders because that's where Tom Brady was drafted.

He's in the student section with Bradley. Even better was there was a chant for Jarace Waller as he approached.

He's ours.

I hope we can keep Coach Oates around for a long time. He's gonna lead us to the promise land eventually if he's here long enough.

Byrne has showed his awareness.
Hope the university caters to his wishes.

We're very very lucky fans to have one of the best current college basketball coaches going today.A few of us early on thought there's something different about this cat as we looked at his success at Buffalo & his winning philosophy. Understandable about the ones who were skeptical after the recent talented flameouts. Oates I mean Oats(Lol) will lead us to many SEC titles & a few Final 4's if stays with us. National Championships you never know,Virginia Baylor have done it recently so why not us with the right leadership & talent.
