I'm gonna go to Oats house and pretend I am a lawn expert and try to get in that way. Hopefully I get some inside info fast because his lawn would be completeley dead after two months cause I am not gonna actually do much work on his lawn.

Well they provide what the market bares, Auburn had that final 4 run a few years ago that probably generated a lot of interest in Bball. Maybe us getting to the sweet 16 and recruiting well will generate enough interest so that someone can for real hire a guy to report on Alabama Bball as a full time job and go to practice everyday ect.
I think there is already enough interest for it to be profitable, I know I would subscribe and most of you would if we had some legit Bball coverage that was plugged in.

Fairly reliable but not connected to the staff directly. It’s not rock solid info, but it’s also better than just a rumor. There are signs pointing to his return. That’s about all I can say .

Anyone else remember that close game we were and the other PGs were either out or in foul trouble and we put shack at PG and he literally turned it over 4 trips down the court in a row it seemed like and we almost lost?
I have been trying to remember what game that was and looking at boxscores but I havent been able to find it yet.
I love Shack and really want him back but his future is not at PG.

No doubt. Somebody told him and his old man that he needs to go the Steph Curry route.

To counter that though when Herb broke his fingers at UK and JQ was out with Covid I thought Shack did a great job at PG in that game
He can do it in a pinch but if he is your #1 or #2 option at PG he ain’t very good

Yeah he did do solid that game and I think that was a year later, I think he was a freshman in the game I am thinking of.

I’m in the minority here, but I don’t want Shack to come back. Going into the portal so late, was cheap, in my opinion. Unless he had conversations with Oats, and Oats just didn’t take it seriously. Shack isn’t a point, and I don’t believe he’ll ever be. The fact that he hasn’t participated during the summer with our guys, isn’t going to help his chances

Yeah I don't get entering it so late, he would've had way better options than going to a depleted TT team if he had entered it a month earlier and we would've had better options in the portal to choose from too.

I don’t know if we are recruiting Obanor or not. At this point, no one knows. Please don’t step out and act like you know something, like the guys who swore, “Shack isn’t leaving” they lost all credibility. Let’s just sit back and put out each of our wishlists and see what happens.
I’m not ruling anything out, but I damn sure will make sure that I pay attention to mistaken and respect what info he shares

Man, us getting that prediction for Jarace Walker has me amped. I was just watching his highlights about 12 hours before we got the futurecast thinking how perfect Oats system would be for him. Match made in Bball heaven.

Hate we aren’t recruiting Obanor. I’d prefer him than Shack. I just think the whole Shack thing is a distraction waiting to happen. Is going to come back be team first or try show pg skills to improve his draft stock? If Oats sits down with him and is convinced, that’s good enough for me. Oats has earned the benefit of the doubt. I just think it can turn into messy situation quick.
