Not surprising. The degree to which any individual athlete will be able to profit is going to be entirely dictated by how many eyes are going to be on stuff they market. The star QB might be cut a sizable check for appearing in a local car dealership commercial or signing a bunch of memorabilia, but an attractive female athlete with a bunch of Insta followers could make an enormous amount of money. I wish I was exaggerating this, but if she has over 1 million followers she could literally get like $2,500+ per post.
